I haven't owned an electric guitar for years, but I'm thinking of getting one along with like a 5 watt Class A tube amp. Don't let the lack of watts fool you. A 5 watt Class A tube amp can get louder than it ever needs to be for playing at your residence. I just love the tones they are capable of producing...and I love how they bring out the nuances of your playing style rather than compressing it like most amps do. --- All points of view and perspectives exist for a reason.
