I'm on like episode 41 of Half in the Bag.

I like their cold opens and framing devices and shit, they know that it's just some stupid schlocky bullshit and they kind of phone it in, but there's a genuine passion for what they're doing and they put in enough genuine effort that it all really comes together. Like they're trying to look like they don't give a shit when they do, but in equal measures or something. Compare a Half in the Bag framing device with a YouTuber like Caddicarus or like Channel Awesome - RLM has their shit together.

I clicked on their Freddy Got Fingered RE:view video, and they made a very solid point that it's like Tom Green giving the studio the finger and blowing all the money on stupid inane shit. I never saw the movie that way, and I fucking lost it a few times when they showed off a few scenes and applied that lens to it. It's fantastic. Or maybe I saw their Jack and Jill episode of Half in the Bag first. I dunno.

Vinny from Vinesauce has been blowing their horn for years, and I recently heard Dan Avidan mention them as well - but I never took the plunge myself. Now I finally have, and I fucking love it.

I'm not sure about the whole "heurghblrbl" accent thing, but I'm planning to watch the coveted prequel review videos. But before I do anything, I'm finishing Half in the Bag.
