It's possible - the main thing I remember is his Sargon of Akkad interview where he talked about how America isn't a melting pot. If he said different racist stuff elsewheres then I don't know about that.

Jon said some really dumb shit but it's been clear for a long time that he isn't going to apologize for or disown it. I don't care about him anymore regardless because his videos don't seem interesting to me. The worst is the fans who circle-jerk over him taking a year to release a video or moving away from gaming content. Like who cares, he still just makes memey YouTube videos, not some avant-garde art shit. I don't think it takes a year to make a 20-minute video about Flex Tape

I feel like Jon is the one that causes issues.

Normal boots has split 2 times, and from what i hear it was cause of him both times. Normal boots is back together again, and this time Jon wasnt brought back.
Also gamegrumps Arin stayed and Jon left, i feel like Jon did something that caused an issue

Apparently the gamegrumps split was because of a 'behind closed doors' deal jon made with Maker Studios. I'm guessing both jon and arin are still under an NDA as to the details.

Its pretty easy to look up. He was talking about immigration and he brought up that he had seen statistics that claim that wealthy black people commit more crimes than poor white people.

while i agree that he is vomiting right wing points, its not white supremacist, calling anyone white supremacist devalues the word, if anything he used the same playbook as useful tools of the white supremacists like sargon, the are unwittingly helping their own enemies, lets not forget that both sargon and jon are biracial

I tend to stay away from JonTron & Sargon. I have no desire to converse with people who think your base nature is inferior or violent because of some long debunked pseudoscience from a bygone age lines up with their views.

I think the issue is that these youtubers are regular people & so when they get those big checks, they are also not that good with money management. Basically house poor. If I got big enough to make the kind of money they are making, I would not be buying these big houses or expensive apartments that they like to show off from time to time. Sure having a mansion or apartment in an exclusive apartment is nice, but the upkeep alone is gonna eat into that sweet sweet youtube money. Plus, when these people get youtube famous, they all of a sudden have a bunch of sycophants gather around them & I bet they treat them to expensive meals, nice gifts, & whatever it costs to throw a party to maintain social standing with the youtube sphere of celebs.

Because society was for most if not all of American history was centered around the white man. The closer you were to being an Anglo-Saxon Protestant with a genealogical chart connecting you to the English colonists, the better off you were. WASP culture is very strong in the North East even though liberal & progressive politics runs strong there, especially among the wealthy.

I lost interest in h3h3 when he became one of those YouTube fame whores who engages in this weird contrast of either stoking the flames of YouTube drama or kissing ass when it's convenient. Like others have said, basically being an opportunist and hypocrite. And then he started a podcast where other YouTubers are frequently guests and the whole thing just comes off to me like a guy who's always trying to get a piece of everybody
