Police incidents like these should be investigated by an entity that is independent of law enforcement. Its all too clear that police cannot be trusted to investigate their own, as officers are almost never found to be in the wrong. Only the most brazen corruption and misuse of force incidents even go to court. This current system of oversight is broken and desperately needs to be reformed.
