Seymour has never placed this high before (and frankly, since he has only been in the top 20 twice period, who knows when he will have another shot). The second part of my pitch involves SMFFFC itself; I don't think anyone has ever been so influenced by it than me. I'm not talking about the contest per se, but without this contest it's very possible I wouldn't have been on board 8, you'd never met me in person and shared all the memories we've had, and of course I'd never have left a small, rural SC town working in a dead end, barely above minimum-wage job to live here in one of the country's largest cities with a much better job and a wonderful fiance. Without SMFFFC, my life probably just wouldn't be anything. It's a little weird to say and it isn't solely responsible, but almost surely without it, my life wouldn't be as it is.
