No, I figured that out, I just sucked at dodging his attacks.

I beat him the time after I said that anyway, though I had to blow the snowman piece I'd been saving. Hope that doesn't change the ending or something.

I've fought Flowey three times now, is there something I'm supposed to do? The second time I was able to hit the Act button a few times, but ultimately I still died.

Spared Flowey, Sans and Papyrus told me Undyne is going to destroy all humans, Flowey told me to complete the game without killing anyone

I assume I messed up by killing Toruviel that one time and that I wouldn't have to replay the game otherwise, but eh.

Yeah see this is why I wanted to tell him to restart after killing Toriel. He was just have to replay the whole thing anyways.

But it's cool to replay. You get a different perspective on things. And you can do stuff that you missed like the piano puzzle.

Is the game really easy if you kill things? I assume getting powerful makes the game immensely easier, since it wasn't that hard even at level 5.

You don't get an event with Undyne if you kill anyone (not really a spoiler but maybe you want to figure everything out for yourself). If you kill Papyrus, Sans never talks to you again until the end, where he's really pissed at you. The ending and the fate of certain characters changes depending on who you kill. Some of the dialogue with Flowey is different.

Notably the ending you get at the very end that talks about everyone changes depending on which of the major characters you killed or did not kill, you can get Papyrus as the leader of all the monsters and shit, there's like a bunch of different possibilities for that epilogue

King Papyrus was my first ending. It was super depressing!

The moment I realized that Alphys committed suicide because I killed her only two friends...

In fact there are some enemies you can weaken to spare (its not very common though)

The most depressing variant of that ending is when you only kill Papyrus because at Sans 'judgement' scene before Asgore he basically breaks down asking you "Why only him...?"

I'm sorry, Flowey was Asgore's and Toriel's kid? I thought Flowey was a flower the scientist injected with determination. Did I totally misunderstand something?

When Asriel came back with the little boy after breaking through the barrier, he died on the flower patch near the throne. Monsters' ashes scatter where they die. So his ashes were absorbed into those flowers, and when it was given determination, his energy was in there and took over.

Finally finished what I assume is the real ending. Asriel "defeated," etc, chose to stay with Toriel.

Is that it, or am I supposed to play one more time and kill everything? I know that's a way to play.

not just kill everything, but farm enemies like you're trying to grind for EXP.
