Diablo 3- I actually like this game, but it's as if my brain can just shot off while playing it. I've fallen asleep once or twice when playing this with my bros on ps4 , and I've fallen asleep while playing it on pc, in my computer chair, as well lmao

tales of Vesperia, final fantasy x and tes oblivion- these all happened during different periods of my life, but basically, I was up late, and I was reading text or watching a cutscene, and I dozed off.

Quite a few due to playing drunk.

Once I beat soul Calibur 2 while passed out. I legit woke up to see the final screens of arcade mode and my finger tapping a button. A button for one of Raphael's easily spammable attacks.

RuneScape multiple times. I probably did succeed at least a few times but i eventually accepted that 18 hour sessions were my limit after generally failing to stay awake beyond that. If i had actually moved around much i could probably easily have gone beyond that but oh well.

Decade Duels i was just staying up late once and fell asleep waiting for a match.

Thats all that comes to mind for teen/adult years. Know i was scolded a few times because i fell asleep with a game still on when i was little but couldnt tell you what games those were.

Probably more than I can remember. I think once was playing Diablo 3. I was playing with some people and meant to sign off. But someone else wanted to play. So I played. I thought it would be a short session, but he wanted to keep playing. I fell asleep a couple times. Another was playing some game with my cousin. We fell asleep with the controllers in our hands around the same time. And one Destiny. I made my character dance while going to the bathroom. I was talking to someone, then ended up falling asleep while my character danced the night away... And probably other times, as well...

It can be. Some people have long sessions they play. And can crash while playing...

Yeah I've never fallen asleep playing a game. My brain won't let me. Can't even fall asleep while watching a movie. Roommate does all the time though, we'll be playing something and I'll look over and he's just out. I would pay to be able to fall asleep like that honestly. It takes me hours even when I'm tired.

I can't recall ever doing that. Playing a game sounds like it would require too much engagement for me to fall asleep unless I was REALLY tired.

For that reason I thought that this topic was going to be about games you "slept on" (i.e. didn't give a chance initially) and was just poorly worded

The only thing that Ive done something remotely similar is probably Yu-Gi-Oh! The Eternal Duelist Soul and Yu-Gi-Oh! Worldwide Edition, both for GBA. I played those games for hours. They werent even that fun now that I think about it. Eventually you get the good cards in your deck and all you have to do is not make an accident as you beat the somewhat dumb AI that will surprise you once in a while.

Yeah sort of. There are times you might be a bit tired and get to a slow spot that isn't keeping you engaged. That's when you catch yourself nodding off. Never a full on nap.

One game that comes to mind is Fuel. Holy shit. If you're like me and dislike excessive travel time between events, avoid it.

Some games are just slow paced as hell and some games have slow parts to them where there isn't really anything engaging going on.

Never had this happen. I can't even bring myself to play for more than 4-5 hours at a time unless the game is really engrossing me. That said, there are a couple of games I've pulled all-nighters with. I did a full 100% run-through of the first Zone of the Enders in a single night, but that game's so short it's not an accomplishment to do that.

Also, I did pull a near 24-hour session with the first Grandia, but that's when I was really young and the only other option was to fall asleep on my friend's floor so I just chose to stay up.

Let's see...I've fallen asleep, controller in hand grinding the fairy waves in the park in SMT:N prepping for the true Demon Ending.

I've intentionally set up a sword familiar grind in SotN on zombies while I slept.

I'm pretty sure I've set gambits in FFXII to grind while I slept or to defeat hell wyrm or yiazamat.

I might have zonked out once or twice back in the day on GTA:SA while wandering around between missions.

Oh. I forgot another one. Smash for Wii, so Brawl. A bunch of us went to get the game at midnight. We went back to my house to play and played for hours before everyone crashing on my bed in the middle of a match.

Back when I used to enjoy the series: Persona 3. Final boss took forever. Fell asleep at some point during the fight.
