Satanism and worshipping Satan can actually be two different things.

Some forms of Satanism vouches for the worship and devotion to one's genuine self, without worry of judgement or redemption. You become your own idol. More about being true to your nature and that kind of thing.

People who worship Satan (Satan is more of a title or "idea" than a character in some religions and backgrounds) are also classified that, but not all Satanists actually do.

Both the Church of Satan and the Satanic Temple see Satan as an ideal and an example for one to live up to, He is the spirit of personal autonomy and rebellion against oppression by arbitrary authority. They don't believe in the actual existence of a Devil who lives in Hell with a legion of demons.

If my really bad and fading memory remembers right they are also generally against suffering, which I tend to think makes more sense then some other religions where you suffer for eternity if you don't conform.

I certainly don't believe in Satan (his plan worked), but I would lead or participate in a rebellion to demand those who don't get into heaven just cease to exist and those who do have the option of going to heaven...still can choose to cease to exist instead.

For a while in like the 17th Century(?) "Satanist" was pretty much the term used by Christians to denounce any non-Christian. So in an internal logical sense, yes.

The concept of Christian Hell cracks me up. Like, the Devil would have to be either truly sadistic to the point of Saturday Morning Cartoon Villain levels or just a complete fucking moron to torture souls forever.

The story generally goes that mankind was god's creation that he loved better and Lucifer wants to lead them astray and torture them out of that jealousy. As such, he's not torturing for god, he's torturing for own purposes.
