Seems like he is working more as a preorder bonus and then if you don't get him in time then you probably have to buy him. I had mentioned how WWE does this with their DLC and someone corrected me that this is exactly what they did with Mewtwo for Smash 4.

I expect one cinematic at the start and one at the end.

This. Expecting NO story, when we are clearly shown a story set up in the direct, is pretty silly. It'll just be much lighter than something like SSE.

After watching that cinematic, did anyone else have the vague sense that the characters are standing against the players of the game (in-universe, not in reality)? Master Hand is meant to be the gamesman from the room where the toys are kept, a la Andy in Toy Story. So in a way, it's Toy Story attempting to rise up against Andy, but on a larger scale. Some sort of shaking the strings of puppetry or something.

Yes. But it doesnt make sense.

In canon these are all dolls and the kid is playing with them. The kids hands being Master and Crazy.

There were way WAY more than 2 hands here. So thats multiple humans. But again; this is all happening in one room. Even if you want to say its all Nintendo dolls rising up against ALL players, that would still be multiple sets of dolls in multiple rooms.

Maybe he CAN fly, but he can also use Palutenas power, and was using it since they were on the same side anyway, and it backfired?
