But the episode this topic's talking about is actually pretty good and actually does a decent job showing why someone might hold his views. It doesn't go so far as to say that he's right, of course, and you can see the flaws in his logic if you think about it, but it's a lot fairer than I was expecting. I will say the scene where ~~Martian Manhunter dives in while fighting an alien, accidentally sets their house on fire, and then flies off after saying, "You're safe now."~~ is fucking hilarious.
