I was more annoyed that MJ was nothing like MJ. They basically took Qwen Stacy, said "fuck it, lets give Kirsten Dunst red hair instead" then looked at Spiderman's ho train and named her after the first red head they saw.

It was terrible because they combined and rushed so many stories all at once, not to mention the criminal miscasting of Topher Grace as Eddie Brock which led to a shitty Venom. They did pretty well with Sandman, though.
