despite there being actual hieroglyphs of aliens helping people build them? Consider parts of the ancient world were still living in straw huts and shit while other parts were building massive structures. Obviously some parts had additional alien help or else all of humanity would have developed at roughly the same rate.

They likely used sleds that they dragged across wet sand. Nobody sane believes that aliens built the pyramids. That Ancient Aliens guy just dropped too much acid when he was younger (he probably still does every week).

it actually wasn't aliens, that is such an absurd theory that needs to die.

Time travelers from the future, however... O_O

Either it was ancient people stacking a bunch of blocks on top of eachother until they got really big triangles or it was aliens.

I actually do kinda believe in some aspects of the ancient astronaut idea. but also, ancient people were nowhere near as stupid as people think. I actually think that human civilization might be older than we think. so of course they could do certain things that we don't expect. I think we might have been at the current 2018 level or even more, of tech before in the past. and then nuked ourselves back to the stone age.

If this happened, don't you think there would be some evidence? There are historians who specialize in the ancient world. This sounds like a half-baked hypothesis.

on the show Life After People, it said that someday even Mount Rushmore will erode and we will not know it was ever a special mountain. that show made me think more on this and that if enough time goes by, all traces might be hidden

With enough disregard for human suffering and several centuries of slavery, you probably could assemble something on the scale of the pyramids.

The pyramids weren't built by slaves. This is a common myth.

Aliens are far more likely than slaves, and there's more evidence for it

Obviously some parts had additional alien help or else all of humanity would have developed at roughly the same rate.

Why would you assume that?

I know you're just joking.

But honestly, if you had a tribe of ancient people living in a rainforest and a tribe of ancient people living in a desert, which one do you think is more likely to invent and develop methods of finding, storing, and conserving water?

Im semi serious. You can say a lot of things that are valid, logical, and not racist in the slightest, but its still racist. Just the way things work around here.

Regarding your question, its a trick question. The answer is set up camp around the biggest oasis or dont live in a desert.

Im scared to say more because Im fresh off being warned.

Maybe they wanted to keep the knowledge for themselves.

But when people wondered out or in the knowledge was spread.
