This protection doesn't exist from ubereats. Like one time I ordered from a local pizza hut and they messed up my order (but I didn't actually notice). Pay 15% for a typical waiter. 20% for a great waiter above and beyond. Pay 10% for a shitty waiter. Pay zero for a god wrecking terrible waiter who ruined your meal. If there is a delivery fee, I am fine with including that as part of your tip personally even as a past delivery driver. They can't not allow the driver to cancel though. Pizza and chinese delivery ties the food production and shipping in the same business. Uber drivers aren't employees and aren't like responsible for your food.
