Same is true for German. That entire Rammstein du hast song is a play on words. Intentionally meant to sound like he's saying you hate, but is more you have.

() Both above are read "Kanojo wa TENSAI desu ne" The top one says "She's a genius, isn't she?" The bottom one says "She's a (natural) disaster, isn't she?" Japanese homophones are lol. Try all of these which are pronounced "Yousei" FAIRY DEMAND/REQUEST POSITIVITY EDUCATION/TRAINING And then, the classic HASHI BRIDGE CHOPSTICKS EDGE/END Obviously those are such different words that the odds of anyone mixing them up is zero, and there is some differentiation in pronunciation/stresses, but still.
