*spoilers ahead* And I loved his character. But the entire series just seemed to be so much more about him and seemed to revolve around him (rightly so, arguably). But I think since he left it's allowed the characters to grow so much and we get to see more about them. I think the show was really good at letting the characters grow even whilst Please don't spoil the rest of it, I need to see the rest of 9. But from what I've seen of Season 9 it seems to be a lot darker and a lot less comical. It's definitely looking more like a drama than anything. --- *walks away* ... Copied to Clipboard!

It was a dramedy from like season 4. It really loses a lot of laughs like most popular sitcoms after just a couple seasons to add drama.

Season 9 is pretty good at the end, but some episodes earlier on really suck.

Season 6 or 7 was the last one I really enjoyed. 8 and 9 had their moments, but quite a few episodes fell flat for me.

tbh, my favorite episode is "Dwight K Schrute, Acting Manager" which happens after that point. Michael Scott (a poor man's David Brent) kinda dominated storylines and kept other characters from shining. That said, most
