To be fair, that announcement may just be mentioning the main cast that will be in nearly every episode. Keep your hope alive, Spidey. From what I've seen of these chibi spin-offs (granted, my experience with them is fairly limited) other characters outside of the main cast at least have a chance of making appearances in an episode or two, especially if the spin-off is considered non-canon and dead characters aren't actually dead. ~~IT NEVER HAPPENED.
