I do need to catch up on Fairy Tail so I cant watch the latest one until I get that done. Tokyo Ghoul more like that anime got raped harder than the goblins are capable of. Boruto no thanks Ive had enough Naruto and the new cast looks whatever. Ive seen all of Magi aside from the Sinbad spinoff.

If you can unironically enjoy Fairy Tail there's really no reason not to recommend Black Clover to you then.

I would watch Black Clover is the lead wasnt possibly the worst Japanese voice actor Ive ever heard. That guys voice make Kugimiya look like Wakamoto

I finished both seasons of Noragami. With Funimation stuff leaving Crunchyroll soon, leaving a huge amount of choices and a limited amount of time, I decided to start with a random anime that almost all of my B8 friends on MAL either dropped or didn't like very much!

But I dunno, I thought it was fine. Not my favorite thing in the world but there weren't any major problems either. The anime's tone reminded me a bit of The Devil is a Part-Timer, since it was half goofy comedy and half supernatural action. I felt Part-Timer had some rather huge issues with shifting between those two tones though (fun comedy, now time for a rapist angel, right back to fun comedy...) and I didn't have that problem with Noragami. When it shifted into action and drama, it was a slow descent and it never felt forced. It also knew when to be serious and when it was time for jokes. I appreciated that. As for the setting and characters, those were both fine too. I liked Hiyori the best.

I thought Noragami was great. Really liked the Bishamon arc, and the rest was pretty good also.

I watched one season of it. It was ok, but I didnt love it. The Lotus Juice background music in one part was good

I feel like this middle Overlord 3 arc would be fine with better direction.

You have scenes with potential emotional weight but it's presented so flat and dull that it's hard to care at all. It's like they put in no effort here. You got this paralyzed dude and the other two begging the girl to run and it's just everyone standing around with dull music and no presentation to speak of. I can vividly imagine the same scene being powerful.

That said, I'm not really comfortable with this direct level of villainy. I realize it's hardly different from the lizardmen situation, but it feels way more unnerving here. Why have the plot point of humans being skinned to make paper for his scrolls a secret being kept from him that will likely be used to shock him later if he's already doing stuff like this?

I just finished Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu. Now I haven't watched a whole lot of anime so far, but this has to be one of my favourites, maybe S2 a bit more than S1. The only thing that bothered me was the implication of Shinnosuke's father; while I'm not up in arms about it the whole thing does not seem to be that necessary and just cheap drama.

Hinamatsuri is the most obvious, and I also have Banana Fish on my watch ASAP list, but from spring I've only watched MHA, Steins;Gate, Megalo Box, and GGO Alt, didn't watch anything but VIolet Evergarden and DitF from winter, so... convince me for what should go after Hinamatsuri and Banana Fish before voting comes around.

I still have a few shows to finish though, plus there seems to be several potentially eligible shows this season.

Devilman and Universe/Antarctica would be my strongest recommendations.

That Anima Yell thing would be nicer if it was for a main character. I dont think that girl is part of the main cast from the looks of it, but still nice to see a regular reaction like that
