Yeah, pretty much from what i have seen so far sigh.

Also....spoilers......

They had guard and prisoners going after him, and like all those guards nearby were on Fisks payroll. Fisk knows he is a good fighter etc, so why didn't he just have em all jump him at once, or the guards use pepper spray etc (even blind it would hurt like crazy).

That whole thing made no sense, in fact, all they had to do was LEGITIMATELY identify him as an imposter and he woulda ended up in jail, where there would have been tons of opportunity to finish him off.

1 > 3 >> 2

2 was an absolute mess. 3 was good, but not great.

You know that for prints or DNA to work, they'd have to have a sample to match it to, right? >_> Plus most of the areas he fights in are places with tons of other fingerprints which renders his prints kinda useless because there are too many exclusionary prints.

What?

Otherwise Matt *was* a wanted man for like most of the fucking season, so that makes no real difference either way.

Nah, not that he was wanted......spoilers.

He went in under foggy's name, not his own, so all they had to do was identify that he wasn't who he claimed to be, and BAM he woulda been arrested. It's not a small thing to pretend to be someone your not to get into a prison. Basically woulda nabbed him on a bunch of crimes and he would have been done, even without all the stuff that happened later. In fact, Fisk literally made him wanted RIGHT after that, when all he had to do was identify who he was in the prison and it would have been done.

...they literally *already* had him ID'd as impersonating Foggy. When Nadeem talked to Foggy, he mentioned that Matt had used his ID to get into the prison.

I know, but they didn't know that when he was in the prison. I'm just saying that if Fisk had allerted them that he was impersonating foggy while he was in the prison, and they just plain actually tried to arrest him (which he thought they were going to do at first in fact and was going along with it), he would have been done. He wasn't going to fight his way out of a prison of honest cops.

Instead he tried to have him killed etc. All he had to do was say "there is a guy impersonating a lawyer (even if he was really a lawyer, he wasn't THAT persons lawyer)"

Oh well, it doesn't matter, just thought it was stupid to be honest. There wasn't really any reason for him not to get to see that guy normally with his own bar license (although he may have had to get it replaced?"......as far as he knew at that time he was not wanted...and he also was the prisoners attorney (since he and foggy represented him together).

So none of it made sense really.

Yeah, but we got Frank out of it and given that Punisher > all seasons of Daredevil I'd say that puts season 2 in the number 1 spot.

...because he wanted to kill him? You're basically saying that he should have had Matty locked up *then* had the inmates and guards try to kill him when he was literally trying to do that while skipping a step. Keep in mind that Matt didn't just *leave*, he had to fight his way out of there and had the help of a fellow guard. More importantly, at the moment of the assassination attempt, Kingpin didn't know that Matty could do that. And had Matt been arrested, he would have been out of there pretty fucking fast on bail and out of the Kingpin's clutches.

He literally *was* that person's lawyer, though. And he might have used a wrong ID to get in there, but do you honestly think he'd serve any real length of time for it? The right judge might just stick him on probation.

Because he was trying to do it undercover. Keep in mind he was also trying to disappear as Matt Murdock.

No, I wouldn't rank Punisher over Daredevil and DD2 Punisher sucked. He didn't get awesome until a few episodes into his own show.
