Still multiple Sears in my area.

No kmart though.

The Sears near me closed up a few years ago. No Kmart.

The only part of Sears that remains in its hardware department. They still have quite a few customers with warranties for stuff like lawnmowers and chainsaws. There's not that many Lowes or Home Depot around so Sears hardware still gets some business.

Sears, yeah. The last Kmart around here shut down like, a week ago.

There is a Sears in a mall near me, but it's like always empty and I think the only reason why it's still there is because it's in a mall and rent in a mall has to be dirt cheap or something these days.

There's also a Kmart, but it's like 40 minutes away, so I'm not sure if that counts as near me.

Quick Google shows there are only two Kmarts left in my city, neither near me. There are still a few Sears, though - I bought my fridge and gas range from there a few years ago.
