I would like to hope not. Until this contest/the show I had not even heard of Monika. So I hope Wario wins. I looked at some stuff from that game and does NOT look like something I would enjoy.

Monika is the ultimate boom-or-bust pick. If you don't have faith in her -- and most people don't -- you should stick to Wario.

Monika's route is going to be hard to predict. Taking Wario is a solid pick. However, considering that the DDLC subreddit is already linking to us, I think that Monika will win at least a few rounds but who knows?

Consider that Draven likely would not have got off the ground had Wario been in his match in R1 instead of Jak or Chie and I don't think it's weird at all.
