Jesus Christ... I don't think I can keep watching that. It's like I'm watching people live through hell but 10x worse. All I felt was sadness and anger. I don't think I want to deal with that. Might be too extreme for me.

It was meh. If all it's has is grimdark going for it (which after episode 2, I'm willing to believe is the case) it's gonna be trash. Especially consider it ain't got shit on late 80's/early 90's anime in terms of messed up content. Do what I'm doing and rewatch Konosuba again.

Steins;Gate is good, though depending on how much you like the slice-of-life genre it can take a bit to get going.
For what it's worth, Goblin Slayer does lighten up after the introductory chapter/episode. After that it turns into a fairly pleasant "story that's literally just a fun D&D campaign the author had" while occasionally dipping back into the stuff you didn't like. Not expecting you to continue, just letting you know those scenes aren't indicative of the entire series. ... Copied to Clipboard!
