Going to be honest, a lot of horror is just a bad fit for the holiday. And a lot of the Halloween-specific stuff tends to be family-friendly (with the Halloween movies themselves being a major exception).
Trying to think if there's one Halloween movie I absolutely love, other than maybe Satan's Little Helper. Trick 'r Treat was a bit disappointing. Tales of Halloween was mostly shit. Currently watching The Haunting of Hill House which, while not specifically Halloween, has been a decent a series to watch around Halloween because it's heavy on supernatural elements and suspense. Probably going to *finally* watch the first two Hotel Transylvanias this year. Not big on watching Halloween themed movies.
