The numbers are in for CW's new Sunday Lineup after YEARS of not having any original programming on Sunday Nights..and it's GREAT NEWS for BOTH as Veteran Supergirl and new series Charmed where both earned a 0.5, which by CW standards is EXCELLENT considering it's on a new opening night and it was Charmed's HIGHEST newcomer of the CW shows despite fierce backlash before it's premiere as people were outraged over it's feminist/sjw stance!!

The new series films in Vancouver and stars Melonie Diaz, Madeleine Mantock and Sarah Jeffrey as the new sisters

Many conservative viewers slammed the show and were hoping for a massive bomb but it seems to have backfired as Charmed retained 100% of Supergirl's numbers and even did slightly better in total viewers with 1.53 vs 1.54. But when the trailer dropped and viewers can vote, it had thousands of dislikes and low votes before Sunday's broadcast.

However Rottentomatoes from critics gave the show a glowing review with 70% Fresh which shows a split from audiences and critics

The series does not deny that it's a feminist show with sjw narratives as it right away dealt with the #MeToo subject and SLAMMED TRUMP in the hour.

With the exception of The Flash which also premiered at a series low with 0.7, all other CW Shows premiered at 0.5 as well such as Supernatural and Riverdale but the premiere of All American, the critically acclaimed series debuted a very low 0.2 as viewers did not watch the show on Wednesday.

In fact, those numbers don't seem as bad compared to other shows that night as Shark Tank and Dancing with the Stars Junior only scored a 0.7 while the Simpsons and Family Guy earned a 1.1 and 0.8.

But CW actually MATCHED Fox's other show "Rel" that earned a 0.5 and 1.54 viewers as well.

CW execs are ecstatic that they held those numbers on Sunday as every other network is seeing numbers dropping though it caters mostly to a youth crowd..

CW also had the chance of bringing in another female lead series "Wayward Sisters" but decided to pass on it after deciding to go with Legacies instead..however, given the the numbers for Charmed, they may take a second look at the show for next year

Are you surprised Charmed did that well?

lolwut? A 0.5 is a hit now? >_>

If it gets greenlit for a second season, I'll probably be a little surprised.

Which is a shit premiere for Supernatural but it's on its like thirteenth or fourteen season or something so there's going to be a drop

Doing far less than other shows doesn't seem bad now?

You can't tell if a series is a hit after the first episode. The new Star Trek show had great opening numbers but it was still considered a commercial disaster because people gave up on the show early.

Lucky for the show, the entire first season was funded by Netflix who are now feeling royally scammed, so they are still making a 2nd season since it was a 0 risk endeavor for CBS.

And the 2nd season is taking cues from The Orville, which is a show that's based off of Star Trek.

It's super annoying to have remakes of a successful show that don't completely reimagine that show, instead just taking the concept and changing the main character's race or gender. And while people criticize complaints about changes from whites to minorities to try to attract a broader audience and to lazily channel a more progressive vibe, that's *nothing* compared to the absolute shit storm you'd get if they remade a show but changed minority characters to white. For instance, can you imagine if they remade Sanford and Son with a white cast? There'd be riots in the street! (Despite Sanford and Son itself being a remake of a BBC show with white actors.)
