I saw a Reddit post talking about windfall island in Zelda Wind Waker and it made me think of this.

I think I could do Windfall Island but I could definitely 100% create a map of Majora's Mask's clock town.

I thought of Whiterun from Skyrim but there are so many individual houses I can't remember. Like where tf does Nazeem live? Or the kid that sells fruit and vegetables? I don't remember and I've played that game to death.

I can sketch the optimal path through final fantasy iv up until mt ordeals. I can also do the towns with the exception of fabul. I can run through all of it by memory but sketching areas after mt ordeals gets tricky. The ropes and door ambushes when getting the last underground crystal, all of the trick rooms in one castle, the tower of babil, especially part 2. By comparison, the last two dungeons are actually quite easy to draw unless we include the massive detour and backtrack from getting Cecil's ultimate weapon.

Correct. I purposely get arrested on my way to whiterun in fresh files to get to him even faster. Nazeem never lives very long in my save files these days.

Have you heard of FF4 Free Enterprise? If you like the concept of randomizers you'll probably enjoy it. RPG Limit Break also has a league going on. The finals are going to be on October 20th and past races are on their Youtube channel

Honestly it feels like one of the perfect games to be put under the randomizer because of how the game is structured compared to other RPGs of the era

I knew there was a vi randomizer so I should have expected one for iv. Fun fact, even atlow levels (low to mid 20s) you can't die to the CPU boss if you have sylph.

Yeah I've only gone through the game once (recently albeit) but watching the league and sorta understanding the speedrun metagame is still interesting. And there's lots of customizable flags so seeing parties that have to use Edward (because there's only 5 unique party members that show up in the world) for example is interesting.

Edit: oh yeah, and I accidentally killed nazeem and aggro'd a guard when I was training alteration by telekinesis-ing random junk around and walked in my way and got triggered >_>. I had to reload lol
