Jumping to some extremes there But yes, society does joke about committing acts of sexual violence against women frequently and when women do come forward they're treated like they might have been at fault. The fact that we as a culture allow such things to be joked about is precisely what ultimately helps to lessen the impact or ability to care when people actually ARE victims unless the victim is somebody we know quite well. And even then, plenty of friends and family members won't care or else.
