Honestly, half the people posting on this board on a regular basis are far worse than ICOYAR. And he's not even remotely as obtrusive as someone like, say, Duckbear.

You could literally reverse that and get my opinion. ICO's occasionally made topics I consider worth replying to (even if more of a jumping off point than replying to his initial point). Duckbear turbo-spams the board with zero-value garbage (made even worse when other shitposters occasionally mass-bump those topics until there's like a dozen on the front page at a time) that serves no purpose other than to waste space and bandwidth.

I think Duckbear might actually have been the first poster here I actually put on ignore, because with him it wasn't "Oh, he's an asshole" as much as it was that his signal-to-noise ratio was so high it was like someone shitting directly into my brain. When his topics flooded the front page, it was worse than when I'd occasionally have to wade through a ton of spam e-mails in old accounts I rarely use anymore and only check once a month or so.

Actually, I tell a lie - I used a fake name from a spam e-mail to name a roleplaying character once. That makes e-mail spam bots objectively better than Duckbear, as they've contributed more positively to my existence than he ever has.

Besides, ICO's way easier to ignore without HAVING to put him on ignore. And half the people that go into his topics these days just do it to explicitly shit on him anyway, so that's apparently something they must enjoy doing on some level.

The only possible response to most ICO topics is a "What's wrong with you?"

Most of his topics are those shitty "What do you do?" nonsense, which hold zero value or appeal. While Ducky's topics are very often barely intelligible propaganda, there's usually something of interest there and, of course, you get far more variety. He may just be reposting tabloids for the most part, but I'll get a giggle out of some stories like the girl who trolled her older sister with post-it notes after the sister's boyfriend was over.
