between feb and august I was okay but for the last two or so months i can't seem to bring myself to do anything, or talk to anybody, i feel so tired, and i'm just becoming forgetful as hell

Like my manager's asking me today why we've changed one of our designs and for the life of me I couldn't remember, at all. I remember changing the design, just couldn't remember why. And this is a major design change I spent a good full week working on tirelessly at the time, now I can't even remember why we did it or who I was working on it with. This was only a month or so ago.

I'm just exhausted and just feel hopeless and apathetic about everything and kinda like what is the point of anything anymore you know what I mean. And any minor setback or knock in confidence at work or personal life just seems to exacerbate the feeling and I just sink deeper in

I think somebody here has mentioned antidepressants before but as far as I know they just make you feel nothing, as opposed to making you feel not sad. thoughts?

Try any other method before medication.

Like exercise or going out more often(if you can afford it) or just hang out with buddies

Medication is fine, don't keep yourself miserable just because it's natural

exercise, meditation, CBD, eating right, sleeping right

I have suffered with depression for forever, been on and off medication... I took myself off Zoloft in July after being on that for almost three years. I am still depressed, it's there, but if you do the things I mentioned above plus whatever else can make you feel good, you'll be alright. Keep yourself busy and healthy.

Are you seeing a professional about this? You can get therapy or counseling even if you dont want to take medication.

Try going to a chiropractor. Sometimes nerve problems puts your body out of wack (even if you don't feel pain)

Hey TC. I got a simple answer for you. Go get a massage. Yeah though but really, and seriously. I did it for the first time last year and my depression became less and less over the past year now every time I went and still go. I been to therapy once and well... yeah, it does help to have an ear to listen to you. But, I think if you can readjust your body as well to a more relaxed state, and studies have proven that massages reduce depression by a mere 70%! Then go for it!

Simply remind yourself that I exist. And then also remind yourself that you are not me.

Basically this. Mindfulness helps me a little with Anxiety but I hear it works for some folk who have low mood/depression too.

On the other hand I met up with my toxic ex girlfriend which didnt help. Gonna cut off communication then try to get my head right from tomorrow
