Songs like Jeremy, I'm Still Alive, Evenflow, Black, etc. never really had the sound I described, but I admit I have a weird take on most musical genrefication (that's not a word). It's still quite a bit of songs that I DO know, (about a dozen and a half songs or so that I can think of right now), but I'm sure there are tons of more "grungy" songs I'm not aware of.
