It's just a pissing contest and I'm not involved.

I lean more liberal when I vote. I don't want the US government to control everything and enforce their ideologies and current agenda on me. At the same time, I can't trust large corporations like AT&T, Comcast, Walmart, United Airlines, Monsanto, and Equifax to not fuck over everyone they can for a dollar so some control is needed to keep their shit in line. I'm for equal pay, equal rights, abortion, and legalization of all drugs. It's your body, your choice.

Democrat, both sides have a ton of baggage but the Conservative party is much more corrupt nowadays, thats a simple fact

I vote based on the candidate, not the party. I understand why some people stick to partisan voting -- after all, making up your own mind is hard -- but I've always found it one of the stupidest forms of tribalism since both parties are pretty shitty and often act contrary to my interests. Keep in mind that the most vocal video game critics in the senate have *often* come from CT, including that absolute dickbag Chris Murphy who feels that TMNT is too violent for kids.

Oh, and CT's gubernatorial candidates suck. In an era where CT is crying out against Trump, the winners of *both* primaries are multi-millionaires who have never held office of any kind because, you know, that's one way to run a referendum on Trump >_> Granted, as a Democrat, my choice was between that multi-millionaire (who has run for and lost just about every high office in the state) and a convicted felon so... yeah, partisan politics are the fucking worst.

Again, the Democrats had a former convict -- who, after getting out of prison on a corruption charge, was re-elected mayor -- running for governor in CT. #PartyOfLessCorruption

It goes without saying that most people don't sit entirely in one camp and I do have several conservative viewpoints, but I'm usually in favor of helping those in need.

Libertarian. I'll vote democrat if they're actually anti war and pro cannabis legalization. I'll vote republican if they're actually anti big government in all respects and fiscally conservative.

But I'm mostly libertarian save for a couple minor disagreements.

I try my best to vote Libertarian and do at the state and local level, but good god was 2016 a shitshow. I have a couple issues where I won't budge on and the Democrat party isn't opposite my views on those issues so I don't vote Democrat.

I am not American, so I am not limited by only being able to vote for two parties (or a bunch of "third parties" that are mostly irrelevant), and in the ten years I have been allowed to vote, I've always voted for the Socialist Party.
