You know I honestly might if video stores still existed.

But I dont play consistently enough to warrant subscribing to GameFly.

I redboxed a few games last year (resident evil 7 and horizon zero dawn.) I beat both quickly and really enjoyed them so later bought them on black friday. I saved money but it felt kinda weird since I really rushed through both since I was paying by the day.

The only time I "rent" is when I buy something used from GameStop, beat it within 7 days, and return/exchange it.

No not really

as an employee we can actually rent used games from the store but I haven't done that in years

as I've gotten older, my wonderment and eagerness to explore new games has died, I remember renting ALL sorts of games when I was young, even sports games

but now I just stick to what I know

and I know I'll just straight up buy what I know

Oh yeah I guess I did rent TWAU at Redbox a few years ago but I beat it in a rental session so I didn't "rent before I bought."

Last time I remember renting games was the N64 Era. Renting Ocarina of Time before my mom got it for me for Christmas.

Growing up, I wish some teacher told me "You probably won't ever need this, but if you don't learn it, you might miss out on something really cool."

I have not rented a game since Wind Waker in 2003 or 2004. I did end of buying it, but I don't think that the rental was the reason. There were plenty of SNES games that I bought due to having rented it before such as Super Widget, Al Unser Jr.'s Road to the Top, and Plok!

I haven't rented a game in at least a decade. Probably more.

There's plenty of rental places around me too.

I had a gamefly subscription for couple of years from 2007 until 2009 and I only kept it for so long because of the discount they gave when 'keeping' a game, I think it was 20%.

Never.

If I wanted a game and if I hated it, I'd either get a refund or stick with it and then sell it on.

Don't know the last day I saw any VG rentals after 2010 when all the Indy Labels started to go tits-up.

I used to rent games when I was much younger. Blockbuster and independent video stores were a big part of my life. I don't do that anymore because I can watch people play the games I'm on the fence about on YouTube. I don't have enough time to spend on lots of games, either.

I haven't rented anything in at least 6 years but I keep seeing games come out that I would love to rent and not buy

Also renting always lit a fire under my ass to actually play my games
