Didn't help he trashed the first movies choreography either, karate is never about fancy moves it's about efficiency which is why it beats out a majority of Kung Fu masters when put head to head. I think the first karate kid is just a masterpiece and you couldn't get better than it, so nostalgia might of clouded my mind. On another note, I was just watching the Kung Fu kids on YouTube, so many childhood memories of that trio.
