36 y/o Former Actress, Fan BingBing, China's highest paid actress has the LOWEST sense of social responsbility among her peers and had mysteriously vanished from social media and the public since July after she was accused of dodging 500 million yuan in TAXES..and now it's been reported that she has been ARRESTED and in JAIL!!

Known as "Queen of the Silver Screen" was detained in beijing and is not likely to return to her acting career

Although a household name in China for 2 years, she's had hollywood success where she played Blink in the 2014 blockbuster X-Men Days of Future Past and had a small role in Iron Man 3.

She is one of the highest paid actress in the world as her earnings are on par or even more than celebs such as Jennifer Aniston and Jennifer Lawrence

She dominated Forbes highest paid chinese celebrities and was hugely popular in many chinese dramas

However, a report by the Beijing Normal University, 100 Chinese stars were ranked according to their professional work including Jackie Chan who ranked 42nd and Zhang Ziyi who ranked 48th..but Fan scored a ZERO and dead last

Fans were split on that ranking as some asked what kind of report that was to give her a zero rating

But she's been noticably quiet in the recent months as fans were wondering where she went and now it's been confirmed she is under the control of "authority" and would face "legal punishment"

It is also likely that if the character Blink returns to X-Men in future movies, the role will be recast..

Did you remember her as Blink in X-Men Days of Future Past?

she dodged 72million dollars in taxes?

is she really making 1 billion dollars?

sounds like they just imprisoned her for speaking out against the monarchy

Your taxable income in China is 100% of it, even though it's all mostly returned to you. So she probably made 72 million dollars.

Wasn't she up for another high profile role lately?

Calling her an "X-Men star" is a massive stretch. Between her name and title, I had no clue who she actually played. Then, on reading this part, my initial reaction was, "Wait, Blink was in DOFP?" But that's mostly because the future characters had a relatively minor role at the beginning and a lot of them didn't reappear again. I remember Blink's role because there was a lot of teleporting during the fight scene, but nothing else.

idk, dude... if Jackie Chan was 42 and Zhang Zhi was 48th, wouldn't a zero put her at the TOP of the list?

Which she won't. However, if Blink was used again and recast, it certainly wouldn't be the first time that a supporting X-Men character got recast. Jubilee had three actresses, iirc.

I remember her teleporting herself and others, but was having trouble picturing the character. Again, everybody kinda blends together. I remember Warpath, Blink, Iceman, Storm, and apparently Sunspot (remembered his attacks, etc, but blanked on the character). Kinda remembered Colossus being there but blanked on Kitty Pryde and Bishop which is a little silly. And was Havok also in the future? Or am I junk confusing his role and Sunspot's?

Certainly possible and was among my first thoughts. Also explains the fact she just disappeared.
