25 y/o Nia Franklin from New York was the newly crowned Miss America after defeating 50 other girls and says she's GLAD she doesn't have to wear a SWIMSUIT to win the competition and 50,000 smackers!!

She says these girls are "more than that" after being the first winner of the swimsuitless competition and instead were asked to answer questions on stage by other contestants.

But behind the scenes there was drama with Miss America State organizers who demand Former Fox News Host Gretchen Carlson and CEO Regina Hopper to resign..former Miss America, Cara Mund says Gretchen has been SILENCING them and bullied them to not speak in public

The runner up of the competition was Japanese/Irish contestant, Bridget Oei from Connecticut who impressed the judges with her Irish Step Dance routine.

You can't always judge from photos but... no, definitely not.

CT looks creepy, LA is weird, FL is meh, MA is kinda cute, AL has a gross hairlip (and no body photos so... no clue), CO is fat, DC's teeth are weird, Idaho (can't remember the postal code) is cute in the first photo but looks weird in the second (super-tan fan, cleft chin), and Nebraska looks cute in the second photo but the first photo is weird (maybe it was poorly resized?)

This is a pretty disappointing group.

What's with the sudden spike in black pageant winners and them having real, attractive faces rather than being the standard pageant monster? I feel they're comparing 6/10 pageant girls against 8/10 black girls so they're stomping the competition.
