Okay, so maybe Tales characters are doomed to not do great in this contest. Sure. But you know what? We can still get the best damn one of them in this thing because he deserves it.

Just look at that confident smile, that perfect posture and that professional-as-fuck outfit. You can tell this guy gets his dick wet every Friday and Tuesday.

Tales of Xillia 2 is head and shoulders the best Tales game on the block IMO and this motherfucker right here is 90% of why. You think Lloyd was cool for using two swords? This guy can handle two swords and two guns, and a two-sided spear, and two hair colors and a giant fucking hammer.

Yeah, that was a bubble of death at 0:19. Ludger does not fuck around. They had to invent a new category for how much of a beast this guy is in combat. If youre good enough to bring out Ludgers full potential (and he has a HIGH skill ceiling,) you can drop bosses in a single monstrous combo.

Hes a pro-level chef with the power to destroy dimensions. His travel companions include Gods older, hotter sister and an obese cat. He balances safeguarding the fabric of reality with gradually paying off his adorable loan shark because hes a responsible adult.

Oh yeah, and did I mention hes almost completely mute?



Thats right, its a silent protagonist carrying a game in a series known for its dialogue! He still calls out his attack names because this is anime and that shit is IMPORTANT. But other than that you wont hear more than a yeah or huh? from him for the entire game because actions speak louder than words and this guy doesnt need any crutches to be better than any other Tales lead.

All of this isnt even getting into spoiler territory, and theres a ton more reasons why this guy deserves your support and his game deserves a play.
