Are there any particular games you like to have going on in the background, or is it a similar list to your favorite games?

I've streamed so much LoZ Randomizer this year...much more into the original LoZ Randomizer than LoZ:LttP's. I tried to stream some LoZ:OoT Bingo, but I didn't get as into it...probably because I had a hard time finding as many Bingo races.

Trying to shake it up now and thought ya'll would have some fun answers.

I've been watching weird Mario 64 races (like the ten dudes vs one speed runner ones) a good bit lately but I also put on Games Done Quick sometimes

I have also recently gotten into a random charismatic Japanese girl that plays Mario Maker but that's foreground <_<

If I'm not actively watching something I usually have some OoT or MM speedrun on in the background. Usually zfg on weekdays (like right now) because his stream schedule lines up well with when I'm at home. The longer the category the better.

i like when people stream JRPGs. or MGS games.

Normally I would say Game Grumps anything, but lately I've been finding their content rather lacking. The weird ass games they're picking doesn't help either.

I really enjoy watching Day9 play Hearthstone and MTG, he has a very passionate and deep understanding of the TCG genre, and is just a god damn charming MOFO who keeps positivity at a 10 at all times, even when getting smoked/trolled.

Overall I prefer single player/co-op playthroughs rather than Multiplayer. I'm someone who needs a pay off at the end, a climax, or otherwise just closure to a series. Competitive Multiplayer really does not give me that, nor does it give me any kind of tangible story, memory, or something I will use or think about minutes after I'm done watching.

I dont watch a lot of streams, but Kyle Bosman (formerly of GT, now with EZA) is pretty entertaining regardless of what game hes playing so Ill often throw on something he did (right now hes doing Tony Hawks Underground on Friday nights after wrapping up Terranigma a couple weeks ago.

Here lately for me, Life is Strange and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney are crushing it. Really enjoyed seeing ya'll struggle with Shadow of the Colossus too. Harrich you flatter me. Thank you so much for the kind words. I'm really proud of what the channel is turning into and all my friends by my side. You guys make doing the episodes worth it though. The support I get from our very small community is incredible and I'm truly grateful for it. So thank you for continuing to watch. Hopefully some of the games we have coming up pique your interest!

The girls are asking me what they should play after Life is Strange. I'm thinking after that and Until Dawn they might need something a little lighter. I might put together a list of 5 or so games and let a Patreon poll decide. Any suggestions for a game the girls can play? I was thinking something like Yoshis Wooly World would be a nice change of pace and equally adorable to Life is Strange's level of depression lol.

Mostly MK Wii for me, sometimes Pokemon or Zelda (particularly ALttPr) if a streamer I like is on. Also Halo 1 through 3, again if a streamer I like is on. There's also a few smaller streamers who're nice people with good communities that I try and catch regardless of game, since I really don't care an awful lot about modern games. I watch those more for the person than the game.

Games for the ladies...just spitballing:

Yoshi's Wooly World - never played it, but I'd at least watch an episode. I've wondered how the game is and they'd make it fun to watch anyway.

Fez - best friend was big into Fez and I didn't normally consider her to be into platformers. This one didn't demand the hand-eye coordination some games in the genre require though, so I think that and some end-game stuff really drew her in.

Peggle - group-based anticipation and drama in that game can be fun, but also it's a PopCap game so maybe it would be better suited for a mini quest.

The Stanley Parable - few things are more exciting to me in modern gaming than when I get to introduce someone to the Stanley Parable, and I don't think I've ever done that with a woman before. There may be fun new takes I haven't seen there.

Night in the Woods - oh fuck, Night in the Woods would be a great choice -- my top recommendation. It's a reader's game like Phoenix Wright with the mildest of platforming and WarioWare-like mechanics, plus it's hilarious and bratty and endearing and many more words that'll suit the ladies in your team. Mae Borowski is my spirit animal.
