They start with a higher Archery level but that's kind of irrelevant in Skyrim since every race can max out every skill.

Khajiit might actually be better since you can get night vision >_>.

Should of went with the storm cloaks. It has no effect on the story or civil war, but imperial armor sells for a lot more then storm cloak armor. Still wont matter much in the long run, but it helps for a early game start. Speaking of a good game start, there's a unmarked bandit camp with three bandits not far from the guardian stones. One of them has a treasure map that will lead you to a fallen hollowed out tree near River wood. The chest wont spawn until you have the map and it has some good stuff to sell.

Decided to pop into Bleak Fall Barrows to get this claw before going to whiterun, scaled my way up a mountain, killed the asshole, and now think i'll see what this claw can do before I decide to give it back or not.

Also, hitting moving enemies with arrows is hard.

Just finished that cave and returned the claw, sold some shit, guess i'm about to head out to whiterun.
Right now i've got points into archery and two handed, so I can do both when needed.

Do the main quest up until you go see the Greybeards. THEN go do side quests.

This will spawn random dragon attacks, but more importantly, dragon camps. And also shouts.

Pretty much makes it the "full game"

Nah. Random dragon spawns are annoying. Not fun or challenging, just annoying.

Some can be. I think it helps with immersion.

Yeah, until you spend 80% of the fight trying to actually find the dragon and then by the time you start getting hits on it some old ass lady that had been sweeping her porch jumps up on its back and impales its head with a dagger.

These days whenever I play, I can't help myself but do Fortify Resto so I am unstoppable and one hit kill everything.

Skyrim is about the exploration and stories for me, the actual combat is irrelevant for me

back in the Xbox Era in morrowind it was very powerful. game is on my list to buy if anything it's just a long term commitment to finish (there's 3-4 versions) 1 for ps3, 1 for ps4 and 1 for VR.

Just get the weather ones for your first playthrough.

Also, Magical College of Winterhold if you intend on doing that storyline - makes the College much better without breaking the game.

I suggest becoming thane of falkreath. http://en.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Thane_of_Falkreath After that you can buy land and start building your own house. Once you've bought the land, there will be a chest near by that has all the materials you need to build a small one room house. You can build more, but you will need to get the materials your self. But just having that one room house will give you a non respawning chest inside the house as well as the one outside the house that holds the materials to make your starter house.

There's actually a house building mod that's way cooler than the DLC housing (it came out beforehand, too). There are probably actually many such mods. I recommend those instead of the DLC, unless you want achievements.
