It's established fact that the gay porn industry has different disease testing standards and requirements for condom use than mainstream straight porn does, so when actors cross over between the two it can cause problems. Multiple porn actors have mentioned this in the past.

And that's not even getting into things like the idea that some diseases absolutely have different transmission rates based on different certain sex acts or whether you're talking about a male or a female.

So yeah, she had a perfectly valid concern. And even if she didn't, the reaction to her was still massively disproportionate, because the Internet is filled with shitweasels.

Yes, but if everyone followed that advice, about 3/4ths of the people on Twitter would have to close their accounts tomorrow.

The entire concept of social media is unfortunately one where people are constantly saying things that are either misinterpreted, or that they'll simply regret later. And which will absolutely torpedo people's lives because the Internet has basically become an eternal torch-carrying mob on the constant search for a new witch hunt.

That's actually why a lot of celebrities have dropped Twitter entirely, because they don't see the potential risks as being worth whatever PR advantages they might get from it. And they aren't necessarily wrong for thinking that way.

Right, and it's a difference with a history behind it and I'm certain that plenty of statistics support it as well.
