Game reviewers "plagiarize" (or in other words, paraphrase) other reviewers all the time, especially with games they have no interest in playing but have to review. Do you really think any game reviewer (or human being) thought giving The Bee Movie: The Game an in depth analysis was worth anyone's time? No. The fact that it took this long for people to catch on and call someone out for it is astounding.

^unfortunately the ultra-shallow review that's more of an advertisement that IGN is the poster-child of is not what's being criticized here. Miucin literally copied things word for word or close to it in many cases. that's what everyone's focused on

almost every review on major sites sound like they heavily borrow from press documents directly provided by the publisher (because they do). unfortunately this isn't really getting any widespread attention

I'm aware of the press documents but the dude's problem was that he clearly took after other sites and journalists in their reviewing, several days after their review had already been posted.

If press documents were in fact the case then the things he was also caught plagrizing wouldn't have been out of the ordinary, there should at least be a pattern with others.
