I was smoking for around 16 years and then switched over to vaping a year or so ago. Today I've quit vaping so this is the first day I've been nicotine free(outside of being in hospital) since the age of 14 when I started smoking. It feels very therapeutic and might even help with this mysterious head pressure I have.

Good luck. Ive been smoking cigarettes for like 7 years now. Got it down to about 3 a day but I still cant kick the cravings after smoking a bowl of weed.

Thanks. The only habit I need to break is to not vape. I did get the nicotine levels down to 3mg what I was vaping on so it shouldn't be that much of a hassle to get off it completely. I certainly won't be bothering with aids to do so nor will I avoid doing what I want to do.

Nice! Sometimes I vape zero nic in my vape just for fun and flavor. Maybe you can keep that around in case you do get a craving. Usually it's just the action that can be satiated and then it'll go away. I know you said you don't want to vape but you don't have to use it all the time or anything. Good luck!

Thanks Jen and honestly I'd rather save the cash then vape zero nic juice. Although it's inexpensive to vape a bottle now and then so I won't be saving much. Still every little helps I suppose.

You could just have a bottle handy to vape when you get a craving. One bottle lasts a long time if you only vape once in a while when you really want a cig and feel like you just can't pass up the craving. But if you can do without more power to ya man. For some reason I have a really easy time not getting addicted to cigarettes so I can just stop on a dime whenever I start up.

My dad used to smoke 2 packs a day for years. He says the cost is what made him quit cold turkey.

His lungs are 100% and have been for a long time now, according to doctors.

The body is an amazing thing.

Thanks man. Perhaps you should give vaping a try? I know some folk don't bother vaping or even vape and smoke but for me switching to vaping was easy to get off the cigs and it was the lesser of the two evils.

Ive had cancer scares, I smoke 2 packs a day and I tried vaping but it made my mouth hurt. I hope I can quit all drugs except whats prescribed this year.

I'm honestly glad weed started giving me mild anxiety because I probably would've kept abusing it otherwise. Luckily, I've never liked cigarettes enough to get hooked either

Sorry to hear about the cancer scares. My nan died of cancer but even worse my older sister died of cancer too when she was 26. This isn't the reason I've decided to quit but it's certainly a intensive. You're thankfully still here so have a opportunity to improve your chances.

As for vaping making your mouth hurt perhaps trying a different device would help? Some devices have a tighter draw then others too so it helps it perform more like a cig would. Sub Ohm devices for example create the big clouds sure but don't draw like a cig would. None Sub devices draw like a cig and was my preference. The later shouldn't be hurting your mouth as they don't tend to have a big mouth peace.

Ecigs r expensive, thanks for the heads up, sry bout your family, but right now I like my tobacco, but Im thinking of quitting for when I go to school.
