Political cartoons are inherently unfunny as it is. That trump supporting semen-stain Ben... whatever... Shapiro or Garrison or Dover... don't remember his last name... who does pro-trump cartoons is humorless as fuck. I remember seeing political cartoons during the Bush era but I don't remember any details beyond the most generic shit like Bush = idiot, Cheney = greedy, crotchety old sociopath and Rumsfeld = grouchy warmonger, so they probably weren't all that funny, and I was college aged at the time, so I would expect to be in the target demographic for political cartoons probably I think.
