I switched to fansubs for it because the official ones didn't do the songs and it was a huge improvement to see the meaning of those. I'm still enjoying it a lot, particularly how good the animation is and all the little details that symbolically relate back to theater. I've found that the ANN reviews have been great for deeply analyzing each episode.

Since I didn't see it mentioned, have you been keeping up with Revue Starlight?

My FireTV remotes has been missing for like 2 weeks until, like, half an hour ago. Thank god I can catch up now.

I actually thought that episode of Asobi was too zany but I'm glad others enjoyed it. Chio is still easily my comedy of the season.

In contrast, I wasn't really a fan of the last Chio episode. Especially the cigarette segment (though the part with the teacher at the end was solid). Third segment was the only really strong one.

Oh hey this Misha girls VA in the DanMachi series is the same name as a fictional character from Ichigo 100%. Chinami Hashimoto. I think thats the first time Ive ever seen a VA who had the same first and last name as a fictional character.

Also dammit they gave the English version of the mobile game the brand new swimsuit waifus JP got so we have 4 waifu banners and I already blew all my currency on the first batch thinking the English version wouldnt get those until next year. Now I feel compelled to grind up enough currency and try for the new Lili. I did get the new Misha though which is how I saw the name thing above.

Oh the new Asobi wouldnt even be on Crunchy until next week. I might just watch the one skit since the rest of the show hasnt been funny at all really >_>

Yeah I just looked into it and it looks like HiDive is adding them in like a week late. I ain't waiting that long for my weekly Revue Starlight. The fansubs I found seemed generally higher quality anyway, HiDive's had a lot of weird positioning.

As for your question LTM, it's not worth breaking your no fansub rule, but definitely watch this when it's fully out

I love this setting, and the animation for episode one was great (not sure how much of that is due to episode one budget rule), I'll probably follow along with this on fansubs since I'm a huge vampire fan

My luck in DanMachi is unreal. I wish I had this luck in Grand Order. As for Franxx I keep seeing dubbed ads for it on Crunchy. I think the pink girl is the main? Kind of a shame if so because the short blue hair girl is much cuter.

Also uh wow it looks like Steins;Gate 0 is kind of a flop sales wise. Not even 3k for volume 2 from the looks of it.

I still need to finish Franxx lol I think I have like 3 episodes left

I didnt like Evas ending either. I watched that series so long ago Im not sure how I really feel about it now, but I recall not liking almost everybody in the show so its a miracle I even watched the whole thing. I remember liking Rei and Shinji sometimes, but Im not sure I liked anybody else in the show. Kinda hard to believe even the movies of it arent done yet since those feel pretty old too

I took it as you're not really supposed to like anyone in Evangelion, but that doesn't work for some people

I was fine with that ending. I don't think everyone should end up happy at the end like Shinji.
