So I've totally just been trying to have one of every type this whole time. Lol I was worried it makes a less chance for super attack if I had a team of all the same colors. Should I be worried about that?

But your advice makes a lot of sense and I'll probably start leveling all of these weaker characters soon to build this team.

Should I start going through the Broly stuff with my strong team now or just wait?

Sometimes it's a little difficult to make sure everyone supers every turn when everyone is looking for the same orbs but leader skill is the most important thing for a team. Beerus is giving +2 ki to everyone (eventually +3 and +4 once he dokkans) and if you pick the right friend you'll be getting another +3 ki. So everyone on your rotation is going to have at least 5-7 based on leader skills and links meaning you'll only need 3 red orbs to super attack!

The friend that you're going to want to pick for this team is SSJ4 Goku. He gives +3 ki to Super STR and +120% boost to stats. That boost is going to feel insane for you after the team you've been using!

I would recommend going through the Broly stuff now because it's a time limited event. Sometimes these events don't come back for 6 months so you want to farm those when they're around. This Broly event also gives you the medals to awaken the STR Goten and the AGL SSJ Gohan..

About halfway done with the Saiyaman medal grind. Theyre only SA5 though

Yeah the gimmick with LR cards is that once they reach LR they have 2 super attacks. You can fill the bar for 12 ki to do one attack or 18 ki to do a flashier stronger attack. This Trunks gets some cool super animations.

Let me know how that strength team works out for you.

I wouldn't hold out if there was an easier way to find that out! I tried scrolling through the Dokkan Awakening tab and it was a long nightmare to go through! Although I guess it may be easier now that I figured out how to filter it.

Yeah I'm pretty sure they only added the filtering today. I usually just check the dokkan wiki whenever I pull an SSR to see if they're actually good or not.

Cant decide on if I want to pull on the family kamehameha banner or not.

30 stones for 1 guaranteed EZA unit plus 9 shots at SSR @10%
OR
60 stones for 2 guaranteed EZA plus 18 shots at SSR @10%

Rising Dragon 50 stones 1 guaranteed SSR plus 9 shots at SSR @20%

Like Rising dragon is supposed to be better bit looking at that the family banner almost seems better

If you care about getting top tier units Id wait a bit longer because we are getting the Goku/Frieza banner soon and they could be stacked. They might also have a do 3 multis get 1 free deal. The RDC and EZA dont offer much worth anything

It's not bad if you filter it by acquired now. As then all the ones you have are displayed at the top.

Plus now you can actually hold and press a unit on the dokkan list to see what that unit looks like after awakening instead of having to google it

I wouldn't pull on the EZA family banner honestly because even with the EZA those cards aren't amazing. RDC is really only worth it if you're chasing LRs or you want more lower-tier SSRs.

Yeah the only way I would be interested in this Goku Black is if he dokkaned into SSJ Black. SSJ Black was only in the super manga so it would mean we could get some manga exclusive forms like SSG Vegeta.

I wouldn't recommend you keep pulling on that banner. The cards are good for where you're at now but there are going to be much better cards coming soon.

Yeah you were right. Should have waited. Looked up the odds on LRs off rising dragon carnival and pulled because of it. All I got was AGL Boujack.

That means my 2 pulls off rising dragon gave me 3 SSRs total (2 of which are guaranteed) which is ludicrously unlucky given you have like an 84% chance of 2+ SSRs on a single RDC summon and 56% of 3+

Got 30 stones back by just clearing dokkan rush 4. Broly was interesting given the units I took. Also fuck Janemba and his dodging lol

I'm not following, how is there an 84% chance of 2+ SSRs on a RDC summon when the base SSR Rate is 20%? I know you get the one guaranteed but even that shouldn't make that % jump up that much I would think. If anything wouldn't that just make the % chance as 20%?

I looked up the odds and took them for granted but I assume the odds of getting at least 1 SSR off 9x 20% chances is 84% and that combined with the GSSR makes it 2+ chances

That being said I never ran the numbers which would be pretty easy to do. Might do that now

Yeah with the RDC you really have to commit if you want to pull something good like an LR. Not worth it unless you're prepared to spend 300-500 stones or you really want one of the featured cards like Rage Vegeta.

Actually I'm over thinking it. It's very easy to work out.

The only way for you to get less than 2 SSRs is for every slot to roll the 80% chance of no SSR. So it's as simple as 0.8x0.8x0.8x0.8x0.8x0.8x0.8x0.8x0.8 = 0.134

So there's a 13.4% chance of getting only 1 SSR. Which means theres a 86.6% chance of 2 or more SSRs

If you get a character that can reach LR, there's a pop up and it reminds you and highlights which one can upgrade to LR. Got that from the Saiyaman Couple in a friendship pull.

Yeah that's a pretty new thing. I wouldn't expect to pull LRs very often in regular summons though. Best to just check each SSR individually.

There are good non-LRs. LRs are very good, but theyre also incredibly rare so the fact you have 3 is very very lucky. Ive been playing for 3 years and only have 1 to give you an idea of how hard they are to obtain lol

Yeah and there are only like 10 you can summon in the entire game excluding the free ones. So you already have 1/3 of the available LRs haha.

Piccolo > Forest Rangers > who cares unless the banner/s have some hype stuff I dont have yet I guess, but saving for SSBE Vegeta seems better so far

Personally I care more about that Frieza and the Freiza/Goku LR than SSBE Vegeta, or Future Gohan for that matter.

The Frieza/Goku LR Category is so tiny you NEED the Vegeta unless you want to run trash like Yurin! In fact since were getting it so early and apparently might not be getting Vegeta until after it the only good card you can even run on the team for Global is UI Goku. The Frieza and Goku TURs are good leaders for lots of stuff, but SSBE Vegeta is just as good if not better.

Thats the current U7 Category the LR Frieza/Goku lead. We dont have PHY 17 or SSBE Vegeta yet. We dont have the Dokkan Awakening of TEQ 17/18 yet. Angel Golden Frieza doesnt really mesh with the team since he drops your Super allies ATK 15% (probably doesnt matter much with the huge boosts you get) and likely doesnt link too well either. So basically the best team you could run with them on Global for now would be

LR Frieza/Goku
UI Goku
AGL God Goku
TEQ 18 undokkand
TEQ 17 undokkand
Angel GF/Fit Buu

Its not much. It will get better when we get Vegeta and 17, but even then its the most restricted category so far. Doesnt even have the Piccolo with Universe 7 in his card title in it (that Piccolo sucks anyways, but still)

I didn't know it was so limited. Do we know for sure those are the only characters in that category?

So far thats it. Given everything else that leaked if it contained more characters I think we would know about it, but maybe theres a chance it has more. Its not impossible and it has potential to grow. Nobody will really care though because of the overwhelming hype for LR Goku/Frieza haha
