Hell yeah, dub is pretty badass. Great casting all around. The Diamond is Unbreakable dub is premiering in August. I'm super hype man.

I don't have a problem with most of the voice actors' voices but often times I don't think their delivery of lines was as strong and I remember watching a comparison between two scenes in part 2 and the dialogue in the dub was not accurate translation

Plus, Diamond is Unbreakable dub is going to kill the stand names since they're musical references

The music references being changed is the only bad thing. But that's out of anyone's hands. Can't risk lawsuits. You can blame Prince for throwing a fit over Gold Experience being used in Part 5 Video Game.

But other than that, the dub is fantastic man.

Part 4 is the best animated arc by a mile.

I've heard a lot of stories. I've heard that he went as far as he could take Hamon. I've read that he liked Hamon, but his editors wanted him to do something else. Dunno man. Only Araki knows.

There was really only so much to be done with Hamon, it doesn't have the depth that a system like Nen was. And in addition to that, part 2 concludes with The Ultimate Lifeform being immune to Hamon damage.

Stand Power is a far more flexible system that lets the writer do literally anything and it's fine because "STANDO POWAH"

I always felt Hamon wasn't very well explained and could do whatever they needed at the moment.

Anyway, DiU has a very weird colour palette and art style, but I like it.

Hamon ran out of steam so fast Araki was clearly struggling to make it work by Part 2. As shonen power structures go it's really not that great.

DiU's color palette is kino, I honestly didn't notice the yellow sky green road stuff until it was pointed out to me, it all feels very naturally incorporated

Jotaro gets a couple good moments in. He's very much written as a side character though because he's so OP.

Jotaro has a huge debuff in part 4 you may have caught from some dialogue at the start, because of not fighting and all he can only stop time for from a moment to two seconds

In part 4 Jotaro has a lot more depth and is a much better character for it imo mainly because he's not just the stoic invincible hero anymore.

Parts 4 and 5 are definitely the most pointless of the first 6 parts.

Part 1 started the whole series, introducing us to the Joestars, Dio and the Stone Masks.
Part 2 permanently wrapped up the whole story with the Stone Masks.
Part 3 permanently wrapped up the conflict with Dio.
Part 4? Only important thing was the introduction of the Arrow.
Part 5? LOL, nothing important that was specific to this one arc.
Part 6? Ended the original continuity and killed off Jotaro and Jolyne.

The dub is just awful. The actors are okay, but the writing and delivery is subpar. Last night I watched Iggys death dubbed, and normally that scene makes me bawl my eyes out, but watching it dubbed, I felt absolutely nothing.
