If the reports about what happen are true while him calling the police on a women for using a coupon is bad. The fact that he is this scared just blows my mind. And is kind of funny, just look at that video.

A white CVS manager who called the police on a black woman trying to use a coupon at an Edgewater store Friday night is under investigation by the pharmacy, which apologized to the customer, officials said.

The manager involved in the incident, was a delegate for President Donald Trump during his 2016 campaign, and is running for alderman of the 48th Ward on Chicagos Far North Side. Hes also behind an effort to bring back the Log Cabin Republicans a group of LGBTQ Republicans in the state.

Camilla Hudson, the customer whose Facebook post about the interaction has now gone viral, told Block Club Chicago she was on her way home when she randomly decided to stop at the 6150 N. Broadway store to stretch her legs, buy a drink and use her coupon, which was for a free item related to a health issue.

A native Chicagoan who also lived in Evanston for 10 years, Hudson said she had been to the 24-hour CVS location many times. She posted the incident after seeing many videos of white people calling the police on black people for no legitimate reason online in recent months.

I think its resonating because we see and we hear these things, and even though for me, as a black woman, I know this is real youre never really expecting it, Hudson told Block Club Chicago. In Charlottesville, thats where you expect these things to happen. Not when you turn randomly into the CVS at 11:30 p.m.

You do realize people get the police called on them for stupid things every day right? Just because a few incidents go viral due to our silly culture of being interested in stupid things does not mean this is some epidemic. This is especially true when people insert race into an incident like this without first establishing a racial motivation. I'm not going to be someone who says racism doesn't happen, but I feel there are many aspects vastly overblown by the media in trying to paint the world as a haven for racists.

Well I used an expired coupon at McDonalds and while the cashier noticed it, got approval from manager to use it, no police were called.

based on the article thats not really what happened mate. They got scared because she called out she didnt fake the coupon and was rightfully annoyed when they kept insisting she did instead of just refusing the use of the coupon.

We get fake shit like that from time to time. Pretty sure we havent had to have cops over it yet.

If you're actually being serious, the qualifier here is that this particular guy is a moron at the very minimum. You can tell something is wrong with him from how he is shaking. The problem is applying a racial motivation without actually having any proof. If he had A) been known to cause trouble for only black patrons B) used any kind of derogatory language C) been known to associate with some kind of supremacist group, etc then it would not be farfetched to apply a racial motivation to this. But the only qualifier in this situation, from the facts given, is that he, a white person, called the police on a black person for, from the facts given, a very stupid reason. Unless given proper racial motivation, the title should be "man calls police on woman for "expired" coupon" and the story should be that he is a moron.

The City of Chicagos Board of Election Commissioners and its handwriting expert reviewed the pages and concluded that five of at least 13 sheets of signatures, save for two names, were written in Matsons own handwriting and listed addresses for some of those signatures that werent homes. Matson admitted he had signed some of the signatures himself.

3) Why is he shaking so much? Is he actually that scared?
