cjsdowg 07/12/18 10:55:22 PM #1:	People joke that I always complain about Finn. However I think the reason that I hate the character so much is two fold . The first one is that how he was promoted. They had brother looking like this. https://imgur.com/69W88I2 He was looking pretty Bad Ass, he was the first person we saw in the trailer. And even on the posters he is holding the lightsaber. (Besides in China). However when the movie came around he wasn't this hero he was this bumbling guy who lost every fight with someone who had a name. He even got beat by the random guy who called him trader. People said give it time, he will be better next time. TLJ he starts out the movie by hitting his head and falling down. Then he walks around in a bubble naked. After that he is beat up by Rose. I literally walked out of the movie at this point. Then I went back after thinking about how much money I spent. After that he spends his time being talked down to , messing up, not doing jack shit , and being a coward. (What he over came in the TFA). Than when he was having his big hero moment Rose Stops him. However beyond the bait and switch aspects of it. What irks me are the people who suggest the movie is progressive and the people who don't like it are racist. Are there bigots who would hate Finn no matter what yes. But for the most part racist people like that he such a horrible character. C-3P0 was cowardly and so was Han Solo at times, yet they are fan favorites. You just have to be useful at key times or grow out of it eventually... or be charming, which helps a lot even in real life. Finn is brave when the Rebellion needs him to be.
