Of course igcd targeted colzach when he died. He was the bodyguard. I thought it was obvious he died to poison. No way blade played a game in January that had a super bodyguard that worked that way and changed how it worked for this game.

No chance in a game he also was in.

So scum team killed Red Night 2 then. Not sure that gives us much insight into the scum team's thought process--but good to know for certain.

Dels alliance with Leo is still bugging me. Like... of all the things everyone left in the game have done, that's easily the scummiest thing. Not sure Mzero being usurper changes anything about that too much. Especially since I don't think the scum team is notified that there is a usurper (at least we weren't when I played with one--not until the godfather was dead)

Yeah, that's what I figured. Pxl's role probably can't accomplish much for us at this point, that was probably the only kill where it would even tell us anything and it's nothing we couldn't guess.

So I guess today is Death/Dels/Shad time. I won't be here for deadline most likely (or if I am, it will be with barely any time to catch up) but that shouldn't be too much of an issue. Shad is kind of hard to decide what to do with since he may well never return. Inclined to think Dels is the likeliest to be scum at this point.

Its mostly just PoE. I kinda skipped over him largely as I ISO'd others. But I will get back to that.
On a post level, I have more against Delse.

Not saying we should lynch Shad. I was hoping he'd be replaced or that he'd return.
But the latter is unlikely and the former would give us a player who has a lot of catching up to do.

I think the biggest thing that can be said about Shad is that his long absence makes him more likely to be scum under normal circumstances. A town player who never posts isn't even part of the game, while I've seen scum teams be able to submit night actions on behalf of their teammates who aren't around before, so hosts tend to be a bit more lenient with scum that don't post (and Shad's situation does encourage leniency, obviously). Unfortunately with how this game burned through replacements it's hard to say for sure, Blade could have just run out of people willing to participate or given up on finding anyone for other reasons.

Yeah Like I said, some scumplayers have willingly gone quiet and towns have let them get away with it for far too long. I forget the game, but it worked for my scumteam with Tange once.

But considering Shads reasons, I dont think its something he himself planned.

And he theorized it was a scumkidnap, which he knew was a lie.. (unless kidnaps can resolve during the middle of the day now, and we did have n0 roles after all. So probably not). He was probably in his funny phase anyway. But its still odd that he didnt comment on it right away.

Mzero was even stranger, he didnt mention Shad at all while he was gone.

Hey guys.

I know I said there should be a fight to the death between me and death.

And I also said we should lynch Shad first.

But I don't really have any interest in that anymore.

This game is already stale - there was nothing to talk about yesterday once the PoE got agreed on

A Shad lynch will do nothing. Me fighting death won't do anything - we already fought - I have nothing new to say to or about him.

I think people should just make their choice and vote. Or you can keep the day going if you want. Personally, I don't have anything else I want to do. Feel free to ask me any questions you would like, if you think it'll help you make your choice.

The alliance isn't scummy, it's just a mindset you don't understand. I don't mind dying for it - it will show the strength of it and prove that I am willing to die to help a friend. Leo will see (and already knows) that I put myself into the worst position of the game and ensured certain lynch for myself, just on the tiny chance that he was town and deserved an ally. I'm happy with that.

I also think Shad and death are scum and the game will be won after I am lynched. If they are not, that's fine, but I'm not really gonna get there on anyone else. Game is probably already over, unless it really is Panthera or Ashe and we radically shift our views and open things up.

My reasons for suspecting Shad are simple: He's a Jinjo, and we probably have scum jinjo. I know it's not me. I've come around on Corrik. That leaves two options:

A. Unclaimed Jinjo
or
B. Shad

Both are certainly possible. Shad's role is confirmable, so he had to explain what happened. He was paralyzed Day 2, but does the scum team really use their paralyze that early? Did they even have one? Seems more likely, like Chris IIRC said, that Shad did it to himself somehow.

Going back to Dels vs Death for a moment though, last night I was rereading Topic 5. Early in the topic Dels says:

i can already tell from this that panthera is town

That's not too odd. Scum Han was pushing for his lynch. But then later he says he doesn't have much of a read on Panthera.

Not sure I can help you there, Ashe, with the Panthera progression.

I vaguely recall that Panthera made some posts I liked right when I subbed in? I don't remember what they were. Panthera makes good posts, though, so, makes sense. But probably an hour later I changed my mind and acknowledged that while Panthera's posts were good, they were still fakeable?

Seemed to me that you liked Panthera because Han was voting for him. Which obviously, Panthera can't fake.

Just looking into whatever I can. I don't feel anyone left has been particularly scummy. Of course, scum are going to try their best to seem towny. But some things are a bit harder to fake, and easy to get caught on. Consistency is easy to fake -- but it's also one of the few places scum are at a disadvantage. They have to keep track of who they're suspecting and who they aren't, while town naturally knows who they suspect. They can forget from time to time, though. Which gives scum some advantage. I'd be way more concerned if you had put Leo on your list, and then later left him off. But that post still made me wonder.

Let's say he IS town. That's one less town vote we have. If we mislynch today, that leaves 2 scum in 5.

I can assure you that my read on Panthera had nothing to do with Han voting him.

I don't think I had any opinion on Leo - he hadn't posted, right? First time I ever saw him post was when he came in and I immediately alligned with him. Before that, I was just sort of trusting Chris and assuming he was scum. But that's not enough for me to have made any statements of my own about him.

If it helps you, you can quiz me about what any of my reads were at what time and why they changed. I'm town, so I can tell the truth and it should add up.

I was just using Leo as an example, honestly. I could have said Mzero there. I think it's much harder for scum to keep track of if they suspect their teammates or not.

Also, here's your exact post from where you say you can tell Panthera is town (and why I thought you were basing that on Han's vote (well suspicion)

It's likely that I felt the way Han was interacting with Panthera was not w/w. It's not about the vote. Han could totally vote a scumbuddy. But if he did, I'd expect there to be more of a "debate". I initially thought you were scum with Han, because you two kept up a debate about things that totally didn't matter since Han was the obvious lynch, and it seemed pointless.

I think probably what I felt was that the way Han was fake-threatening Panthera wasn't a w/w interaction? Because it was too casual and not really enough to look like distancing to me....?

I probably didn't feel too strongly about it after the interaction was over - you can see that post is an example of how I was trying to sort of taunt Han and try to get some spew out of him. It's half playful, though still a real read of the situation of course.

This game has been going on for a long time and it has stagnated - no new reads are coming, as far as I can tell, nothing that will change things.

As scum, I could know that me and my PoE'd buddy are doomed (especially if its Shad. honestly, not if its death) and therefore not want to fight

But as town, I could also see exactly where the game is going and not want to fight
