Are you seriously blaming hot weather in summer on global warming?

That's not what he was saying at all. It's amusing how so many people don't even understand the concept of global warming. Global warming isn't just the "warming" of Earth. It's about the changing weather patterns, more and more natural disasters like earthquakes, tornadoes, etc.

For example, this year basically had no spring at all. It was cold all through March and April, and in fact April was one of the coldest Aprils on record. Then we do a 180 and have one of the hottest Mays on record. We went straight from winter to summer and went straight from being one of the coldest months on record to one of the hottest. Our seasons seem to be changing in recent years with shorter and shorter springs and falls and longer and longer winters and summers. That is a changing weather pattern, and while we can't be certain it will continue, it has been a trend in recent years.

People who deny that global warming/changing weather patterns is happening are either stupid, in denial, or just don't understand the concept. It IS happening. That is not up for debate any longer. The only thing that is up for debate is whether mankind is causing it or if it is just a natural occurring event. A popular theory is that global warming is a natural occurring event that happens ever so often. For example, global warming could have led to the Ice Age which killed all the dinosaurs. The Ice Age was definitely a period of global weather pattern changing, and it's why global warming could become a very serious problem if we're on the verge of another Ice Age or something similar.

Global warming makes summers too hot and winters too cold, we already don't have normal seasons it just jumps from winter to summer basically

We don't actually know exactly what killed the dinosaurs. The Ice Age is just one of the more popular theories. That wasn't the point of my post though, and if that's all you got out of it, then that's just sad.

Yes, at least five that we know of, which is why there is debate whether the current global warming/changing weather patterns is caused by mankind or just a naturally occurring event that occurs once in awhile. Either way, global warming is something not to be dismissed regardless of what is causing it. A new ice age would be devastating to humans. I doubt we would go extinct, but many people would die.

But how would we survive? Dome cities? Going underground?

Despite the name, an ice age doesn't literally mean the entire surface of the planet is covered in ice. The average temperature of the planet just drops dramatically. For example, the average temperature may drop 30 degrees F, so the average temp in summer becomes 55 and the average temp in winter becomes 0 (assuming the current averages are 85 in summer and 30 in winter respectively).

Only places at the northern and southern regions of the planet would become uninhabitable as the average temps there would fall too low for survival. Like Canada for example. Canadians would either have to move further south, or they will die. The US would become the new Canada with very cold winters but mild summers that are more spring-like than actual summer.

Another big problem is that there will be less land usable for agriculture, so there will be less food. So freezing to death isn't the only worry, but starvation will be just as problematic.

No duh, Captain Obvious. That's not the issue. The issue is that it's too damn hot like the TC said. The issue is that this summer is much hotter than normal.

The state where I live, we have an average of 9 days of 80 degree or higher temps in May. The old record was 21 days. We broke the record this May with 25 days. That is pretty freaking hot. It is literally the hottest May on record.

It just turned July, and we are already seeing the heat index go well over 100 degrees. That's something you don't normally see until the end of July, not the beginning.
