Local, independent places that hand toss and actually use wood burning ovens are the only mother fucking way to eat Pizza. We ate Pizza Hut the other day. I hadn't eaten it for about 2 years. You can watch a brilliantly written, deep and meaningful mindbender of a movie one day, and then be just as entertained by a ham/cheese action movie the next day. It's possible to like both despite seeing that one is better than the other, and even occasionally have a preference for the lesser. Dominos and Pizza Hut both stopped cooking their pizzas, unless you tell them to leave it in until its finished. You shouldnt have to tell them. Dominos even went so far as to show photos of their own bad pizzas and publicly apologize. You could go one day and get a 10/10 perfect pizza. Then when you show up the next day and order the same pizza, it will be absolute garbage-tier disgusting inedible trash. My personal favorite pizza place near my house is a chain. Georgio's Oven Fresh Pizza. It's not amazing, but it's pretty good and probably an 8/10 on average. And they're consistent as fuck. You'll never get a 10/10 from there, but you'll never get a 3/10, either. You can expect that it will be between a 7 and a 9 every single time, and you will always be satisfied with the meal. And that's worth something. Papa John's sucks. So does Pizza Hut. Hungry Howie's is pretty solid, but there sadly isn't one near me. Second_Chances 06/30/18 7:26:40 AM #38:	the best pizzas I've had have been from local places, but the worst were also from local places, so the whole "local is always better than chains" thing some preach seems silly to me the only wide chain I really like these days is Domino's but only like half of the employees at a given store seem to know what they're doing with the bad ones either undercooking it or going super overkill with the cheese, Papa Johns was just old Domino's but worse when I last had it, Pizza Hut used to be good but went to shit but maybe it was only good because I was younger and dumber, Little Caesar's is cheap cardboard but cheap cardboard is preferable to PJ or PH, Costco's "Combo" pizza is good but their cheese is awful the local pizza places in my current area can usually do good with plain cheese pizza but most seem incapable of making a good pizza with any toppings that aren't pepperoni, the only places that seem to use fresh, quality ingredients are primarily regular sit-in restaurants that also happen to make pizzas <cite>Second_Chances posted [p:904235332] in The "...
