Anybody here play both of them? These are the main two games I've been contemplating on getting on Steam during the sale. The only other option is Just Cause 3, but I'm 90% sure I won't be able to run it on my potato and it doesn't have the best reviews. I'm not hard up for games, so I might not get either, but opinions would be nice. I've only got enough credit on my steam account for one, and as I said, I'm not hard up for games, so I'm not going to spend more than I have in credit. Was really hoping for a deep sale on Slay the Spire, but it didn't happen as I guessed, so these are my options.

Rogue Legacy is quite cool and interesting while not taking itself too seriously. Never heard much about the other game tbh. Only the name sounds similar familiar.

Love the Nep-Nep games so my vote goes to Neptunia U. It's a game that's best played in spurts though.

Rogue Legacy is amazing. One of my favorite games in a long time.

First advice - Steam sucks. Run, run far and fast. Second I have Nep U but haven't tried it yet. Just Cause is good as long as you're ready for a lot of travel time. I was too cheap to buy the jetpack DLC. Rogue was a fun game if you're into platformers. Like other roguelikes it'll take some time to get a feel for the game and build up your character a little in between runs.

Just finished that one 2 weeks ago. Little grindy if you want the plat but otherwise I liked it. Did reach a point where nearly nothing could hurt me so maybe it was a tad on the easy side.

I liked Rogue Legacy quite a bit. Can't comment on the other one because I haven't played it.

Go with the zombie one (Blanc). It's the better of the Nep Hack and Slashes and doesn't have the silly costume damage thing.

I've seen lots of people that feel the Nep U is the better of the two.

And you can equip outfits that don't break.

It's cool, thanks for checking. I'll probably give it a go today, unless I start Nanatsu no Taizai s2. In which case, I won't be doing much else today.

Both glitches draw their roots from the same source; that quitting the game without saving can have some strange effects. I've tried the glitch on PS4, Vita, and PC and it always worked, so I'd assume it's universal.

- If you defeat a miniboss (like the two plants, two skeletons, etc.), open the treasure chest, and force close the game, you will have the contents of the chest but the actual chest will still be untouched. You can abuse this for free equipment/stat boosts, and it's really helpful for Thanatophobia.

- If you start the clown game where you throw the axe/knife and force close the game, your special weapon will be replaced by the weapon from the throwing game. Normally this doesn't have much use - but you can do this with a Dragon class character, to replace the fire attack with the much more versatile axe. I've dubbed it the Flying Axe Master class, and it's incredibly cool and overpowered.
