Ever since playing it around a week ago, I've had mixed feelings about it.

My first victory royale was thrilling, but after that I sort of lost interest.

What about you CE?

Well, the battle royale genre in general is basically a giant turd in my opinion.

But at least Fortnite is a polished turd? It's probably the best of the bunch, but that's setting a pretty low bar so it doesn't mean much.

No. It's only popular right now because everyone and their mother is doing it. Once people start to lose interest, they'll stop playing.

The only reason people play is because everyone else is playing.

As someone who HATES the Battle Royale genre since it's devoid of strategy and/or tactic whatsoever, I find Fortnite to be a very enjoyable game.

It's basically the League of Legends of Battle Royales, and that's why it's on top. It's casual, it's fun and it's easy.

I used to hate it blindly like everyone else, but after a few games and looking up some guides and learning how hard the game actually is and actually practicing, it's pretty good tbh, so satisfying when you outbuild a nerd and then pop open a window in one of the walls and shoot him through it before he expects it

Anybody who says No is a moron.
Technically, how well it runs on everything, and what you can do in it is impressive IMO.
But it is also very fun.

I only played 2 rounds at a friend's place, and I was incredibly crossed so I wasn't doing good.

It's not bad, but it's just not my thing. I'm not gonna shit on the game itself, just the culture surrounding it.
